Have you ever stopped to think about the power of your own thoughts and how they shape your reality? 

 

I’ll be brutally honest: NO. I lived most of my life having no clue about the state of mind.  

 

Today, I talk a lot about it and it’s worth resharing since most people are unaware of this topic.  

 

The state of our mind is a powerful thing. It can either propel us towards greatness or hold us back from achieving our true potential. How we think about ourselves and our lives can have a profound impact on the direction our lives take. This is where the concept of changing our story comes into play.  

 

Changing our story means reevaluating our beliefs and perceptions about ourselves and our circumstances and making a conscious effort to shift them in a more positive direction. This shift in mindset can have a tremendous impact on our lives. Physical Health. Mental Health. Relationships. Success in professional and private life.  

 

I have seen this firsthand in my own life. Growing up, I struggled with self-esteem issues and always felt like I wasn't good enough. I believed that success was for other people and that I would never be able to achieve my dreams. It wasn't until I started to change my story and shift my mindset that things started to change for me.

Here are three things I practice daily which I teach and train my clients in and which think may help you too: 

 

  1. Self-reflection: The first step to changing your mindset is to become aware of your current thought patterns and beliefs. Spend some time reflecting on your inner dialogue and identify any negative self-talk or limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. Once you have identified these, work on challenging them and replacing them with more positive and empowering thoughts.

 

2. Gratitude: Practicing gratitude is a powerful way to shift your mindset from a negative to a positive one. Make a habit of focusing on the good things in your life and expressing gratitude for them. This can help you develop a more positive outlook and attract more positivity into your life. 

 

3. Action: Changing your mindset is important, but it's not enough on its own. You also need to take action towards your goals and dreams. Break down your goals into smaller, achievable steps and work towards them every day. This can help you build confidence, stay motivated, and create momentum towards the life you want to create. 

 

My shift

Instead of focusing on my shortcomings, I chose to work with someone who could help me. I learned why and how to focus on my strengths and the things that I was good at. I started to believe in myself and my abilities. I started to see challenges as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than insurmountable obstacles. 

 

This shift in mindset had a ripple effect on my life. I began to take more risks and pursue opportunities that I would have never considered before. I started to see success in my personal and professional life that I never thought was possible. I became more confident and self-assured, and my relationships improved as a result. 

 

It's important to note that changing your story and shifting your mindset isn't a one-time thing. It's a continuous process of self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-improvement. It takes time and effort to break old habits and beliefs, but the rewards are well worth it. 

 

If you're feeling stuck in your life and unsure of your options, know that you have the power to change your story. You are what you think, and you have the ability to create your own reality. You get to choose how long you will suffer and whether or not you will invest in your future. 

 

Investing in yourself can be scary and uncomfortable, but it's necessary for growth and transformation. It's important to remember that by saying no to investing in yourself, you are also saying no to your own upgrade and transformation.  

 

For me, saying no to an upgrade is no longer part of my language and who I am. As a mother to a beautiful almost 9-year-old daughter, I carry a great responsibility. I am a role model and I want to inspire my daughter to believe in herself and to know that she too can create whatever she desires. By investing in myself and my own growth, I am showing her that anything is possible with hard mindset work, dedication, and with a “I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IT IS EASY” mindset. 

 

So, bet on yourself, invest in your future, and watch your life transform before your very eyes.
